Season 1, Episode 10: Create Your Own Music – Marley Wildthing

‘One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain’ – Bob Marley

Without music, life would be a colorless, hollowed out experience. Music is nourishment for the soul and for many, music is a reason to get up in the morning. But music isn’t a gift graciously bestowed upon us mortals from the Gods. No, music comes from people; real artists who dedicate themselves each and every day to the craft of creating music, spending countless hours writing, composing, changing, and perfecting songs in order to share these harmonious fruits of labor with the rest of us.

Marley Wildthing is one such artist who continues to pour her heart and soul into the craft of writing and performing music. Originally from Austria and based in Prague, Marley plays a range of instruments, composes her own songs, and performs in a range of venues. Marley’s life is music, and she continues to spend much of her waking life on creating and performing great music.

On this episode of Do This With Your Life, we speak with Marley Wildthing about how her early interest in music led her to where she is today. Marley recounts how she began writing songs, the fears she had of performing her music and how she got over those fears, and how her love of travel combined with her penchant for playing music anywhere and everywhere has created a lifestyle that can probably be best described as that of a true rolling stone.

Throughout the show, Marley performs several of her songs, a few of which will be found in her upcoming EP. Those interested in learning more about Marley Wildthing and her music can visit her website, http://www.marleywildthing.com, or you can find her on Facebook and Instagram.
